We've seen electric college players in the past. But Johnny special was special. It's as if Barstool Sports' El Pres was an elite college athlete, fabulously wealthy, and desired by hordes of co-eds. Viva la Stool!
Johnny Football wrote an open letter to Aggie Nation this afternoon that addressed his relationship with fans:
"I will always try to make you as proud of me in the NFL as I did at Texas A&M."
The 12th Man couldn't be prouder.
Even Samantha Ponder couldn't help but be impressed by Johnny Football's 4,114 passing yards and 37 touchdowns this past season.
Even though Texas A&M is primed for a recession after Money Manziel's departure, they will be forever indebted to himl. Texas A&M is expanding their football stadium and renovating their facilities all because of Manziel.
It's only fair that he be able to take his talents elsewhere and profit from them himself.
Whether or not he flames out in the pros, Johnny Football has already achieved college football immortality.
