President Obama recently sat down for an exclusive interview with Glenn Thrush of THE POLITICO, a Beltway gossip blog located many, many floors below the Free Beacon in Arlington, Virginia. Here are some of the highlights, as told using real interview quotes and clips from The Chris Farley Show:

GLENN THRUSH: So, one of the things — thanks for doing this by the way, Mr. President.

PRESIDENT OBAMA: Of course.

GLENN THRUSH: You ever wake up and, you know — you know, your whole campaign was about bringing rationality and comity to the entire process.

PRESIDENT OBAMA: Right.

GLENN THRUSH: So that famous thing — like, on the Saturday Night Live thing, where [Hillary Clinton] was — you know, that great skit that she — that her — remember that thing, where she pushed that around?

PRESIDENT OBAMA: Yeah. Yeah.

GLENN THRUSH: I was — look, I was on the other bus, and we had candidate envy, right?

PRESIDENT OBAMA: Yeah.

GLENN THRUSH: But you were pretty good. I don’t think anybody knows it better than you.

PRESIDENT OBAMA: No.

GLENN THRUSH: Right.

PRESIDENT OBAMA: So...

GLENN THRUSH: All right.

PRESIDENT OBAMA: So... All right?

GLENN THRUSH: Thank you very much, Mr. President.

PRESIDENT OBAMA: Great to talk to you.

GLENN THRUSH: Great to talk to you, too.

PRESIDENT OBAMA: All right. Good luck with the dog, all right?

GLENN THRUSH: Thank you.
