Hillary Clinton on Monday had some harsh words for President Obama's record on gun control:
If Congress refuses to act to end this epidemic of gun violence, I'll take administrative action to do so. -H

Implicit in Clinton's not-so-subtle jab is an accusation of fecklessness and dishonesty leveled at the president for not only failing to enforce gun control measures through executive action, but also for falsely claiming that there's nothing he can do about it. Speaking in response to the recent shooting at an Oregon community college, Obama said of new gun control measures [emphasis added]:
Each time this happens I am going to say that we can actually do something about it, but we're going to have to change our laws. And this is not something I can do by myself. I've got to have a Congress and I've got to have state legislatures and governors who are willing to work with me on this.
Perhaps Hillary's passive-aggressive attack is in response to Obama's suggestion last week that she stop offering up "half-baked" solutions to the crisis in Syria.
