A British royal family has given its newest member the same name as a recently born American heiress, a Free Beacon analysis found. Royal mom Kate Middleton gave birth to Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, Princess of Cambridge, over the weekend, six months after the birth of Charlotte Clinton Mezvinsky, a prominent American grandchild.

Just a coincidence? Probably not, given the shady tendencies of the dynasties Windsor and Clinton. Consider the timing, for example. Princess Charlotte’s birth was announced at a time when the Hillary Clinton campaign was being bombarded with troubling revelations about the Clinton Foundation’s acceptance of foreign money. Now the royal baby is stealing headlines and reminding voters of a key plank in Hillary’s campaign platform: "I’m a grandmother."

Voters tempted to shrug this off as standard Clintonland electioneering should consider the sinister context of the name "Charlotte." As it turns out, both royal daughters were named after Queen Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, the German-born wife of King George III, whose tyrannical regime and confiscatory tax policies led to the American Revolution.

Most Americans believe the patriotic revolt against King George was one of the greatest moments in our country’s history. Can we say the same about the effort to elect Hillary Clinton?
