Washington Post report on the frugal nature of the Hillary Clinton campaign notes that, in addition to Hillary, campaign manager John Podesta is the only staffer eligible for senior citizens discounts on Amtrak trains. Both will likely be spending a fair amount of time on the road in the coming months, but if they're ever back at campaign headquarters in Brooklyn, here are five senior discounts in the area Clinton and Podesta can take advantage of:

1. New York Transit Museum

Billed as "the largest museum in the United States devoted to urban public transportation history," the museum offers free admission to seniors (ages 62 and up) on Wednesdays.

2. Brooklyn Botanical Gardens

Seniors (65 and up) can savor the blooming Herbaceous peonies in the Shakespeare Garden for half the price ($6) of non-wizened adults.

3. 'Senior Cinema' at Brooklyn Academy of Music

Offers free admission and complimentary popcorn and soda to seniors (ages 65 and up). Subsidized bus transportation is also available at participating senior centers. Important note: All theaters are wheelchair accessible.

4. Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts

Enjoy the dulcet tones of the Vienna Boys Choir for $2 0ff the price of regular tickets (ages 65 and up).

5. Prospect Park Zoo

Pet some alpacas without breaking the bank! Seniors (65 and up) get $2 off the price of admission. Grandchildren (ages 2 and under) get in free.
