President Donald Trump sent out a tweet Thursday on the now-revoked Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program at the request of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.), according to press reports.

Trump tweeted that those who benefitted from DACA had "nothing to worry about," adding, "No action!"

But shortly afterwards, journalists at a variety of outlets reported that Pelosi spoke on the phone with Trump in the morning to request the tweet. While some wrote Pelosi called Trump, New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman said Trump called Pelosi.

Trump's acquiescence comes a day after the president shunned Republican leaders in Congress and sided with Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) in negotiations over raising the debt ceiling.
